Hi Muhammad...I like this shot...nice details and light..nice work.
Roger
Nice portrait.
Why he wanted to cut his long hair, it suits him very well.
Good work, Muhammad.

Shooting with the aperture so wide is a personal thing I guess, and if it works, why not! There are a lot of blogs out there about cameras missing focus when shooting so wide - do you have that problem on shots?
Light, colours, comp and crop are all good.

Hi Muhammad,
Indeed, the man has a film star face, not as prety as I am, but good enough. ;-)
The details are amazing, making the face comming alive. Good crop and composition, and superb exposure. Very good note too.
TFS.
Joop!
Great portrait with great sharpness, light and natural skin tone colour captured by your vision. Shooting wide open has rendered good BG blur while still retaining excellent sharpness of his eyes and facial details. He looks like an exact look alike of Yani to me and his facial symmetry is just about perfect for this type of shot. Great note writing to back up you fine posting and I salute you for that as well! A+++CLASS!

Why not portraits? :-)
My portfolio, too, is almost potraits dedicated...
This one is intense, eye contact with camera enhances the deepness of model's expression and, last but not least, the young man is so awesome!
TFS

The f2.8 has worked well with this 'head on' shot. Even a slight angle would have rendered one of his eyes out of focus but you seem to have nailed it well.
Good even lighting...
He needs a haircut like mine ;-)

Hi Muhammad
It has been a looooong while since I came to visit your gallery for the last time. No disaffection at all, but I have spent much more time on TE. For a brief stop, I am glad to hop at your photos again and see that you did not give up! Your gallery is full of beautiful portraits. I am surprised to find that your cousin Umar; that I had left soon before his wedding, has now some white hair. No, no, no! Is it so exhausting, to get married ??? :)
Anyway, back to this picture. I like the frontal look, the serene, wise expression. The colors are good, the light is soft, the sharpness is excellent, and the plain blurred background, is perfect. Only one thing distracts me: what's the need to cut his hair!? He was handsome like that! But it's surely too late now!...
Good job! Do not listen too much to those who say that your black and white portraits are sad; that's simply not true. They are full of soul and sensuality.
Regards
Marine
