[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
It seems that the Robins have stayed with us longer this year. Normally they've headed to their winter homes by now.

Not much pp work; +contrast, crop, resize, sharpen

Have a great day!

Hi Werner

Good use of a shallow dof, with good sharpness on the bird. I'd suggest zooming in with a serious lens of 600mm, or consider the use of a 2x converter. Wonderful color & framing. Tfs!

Hi Werner!

This is a good capture of the Robin. I see you have a 300mm zoom lens. I don't have one of these either, but would like to have one. Where do Robins go? I'd say this photo has good DOF to be cropped, yes?

A good birding lens is a little longer than 300mm but with good light and a tripod you should be able to crop the shot and make it larger and retain the sharpness. Nice shot of the Robin warm regards

Hi Werner,
Talk about camouflaged! Very good spotting on your part, the focal length looks like it came in handy too. Good focus and DOF from f/5.6, seems to be posing for you.
