Ciao Vanda,

Wonderful macro capture of the Scarce Swallowtail butterfly!
It is indeed a great dedication to Alessia. She would be very happy to see it.
The details of the butterfly's body are very well shown. The sharpness and POV are perfect with nice use of the daylight. Contrast between the B&W striped butterfly and the purple colored Buddleia flowers, is simply wonderful. The blurred BG is nice.

Hello Vanda,

A fine close-up of this beautiful and interesting swallowtail. The details of its patterned wings are well captured, as are its legs, firmly clasping the buddleia.
I like your off-centre composition and the effective, narrow dof.

I saw something similar, on holiday, but have not reviewed the images yet.

Impressive capture, good use of the zoom - The focus looks nice and precise. An interesting looking butterfly, the details and patterns seem to stand out well in the afternoon light. Not quite sure if the frame works, but the photo itself looks excellent from where I'm sitting.

Very nice shot: perfect sharpness and composition, and beautiful colours.To give even more impact,I think I should have tried to clone out the plant in the background; but I like very much the light coming through the wings of the farfalla (I know now why we have in french pasta of this name...)

Cia Vanda. Gia nella composizione sei imbattibile se poi la fai girare intorno ad un Podalirio allora rasenti la perfezione. La farfalla è ben dettagliata e contrastata. Il POV ti ha permesso di otteneere una ottima DOF. Complimenti.
