[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I am on a lecture tour around the Pacific Rim....7 countries in 14 days so it is a little tough to get out and take my normal candid shots. This pretty young lady was working in our press event so I asked if I could take a picture...it is sometimes more difficult to get a natural expression from a model but in this case I think she looked quite natural.

Nice one Roger. Great natural expression, nice eye contact. Colors and details are fantastic.
Sounds like an interesting trip . I hope you're able to get out at least for a while everywhere to get some great shots.

Hi Roger,

Superbly captured! Great details and color tone. Excellent use of available light with your ISO 800 setting. I very much enjoyed viewing your portrait of the lady from your press event. She's very pretty. Her expression does seem very natural. She probably appreciated your taking her picture, when she saw the shot, even though she looks a bit unsure. The blurred red and white sign behind her makes a good BG. I think that I might have considered removing the small white hair on the left. The ones to the right seem to fit in naturally, because of their diminished saturation. As always, however, your portrait is terrific.

I hope that your lecture tour goes well.

Excellent portrait,wonderful eyes.

Nicely done.

ciao Roger!
another intense portrait in Asian land with an excellent definition and management

Like it. Simple, strong, powerful. Her look to the camera is so direct and compelling. The composition sits just right and yes, it feels natural in terms of expression and detail.

Very nice CLOSE shot Roger! Really cool that she has that "attitude" look! Smiling would not have worked! This is nice, very good sharpness on this!

Nice Portrait
Great model
Best regards

Hi, Roger -
Very pretty face, but what grabs me about this one is the detail of her perfectly straight hair; the individual strands are clearly shown and capture the light well. As you say, she has a natural look, and her eye contact is alluring. Well done.

Hi Roger,

She is really beautiful and your composition is great, i like how you cut the head in such way the picture looks balanced.

Simple and nice shot, in this case "Less is More".
