|A shot of Salcombe Harbour in Devon, orginally taken in colour, on a very bright day last summer. I didn't much like the colour version, ( see workshop for orignal) so just discarded it, but found it again today, whilst looking for something suitable to convert to B/W.|

Nice B&W shot, great detail, I could imagine it would be very busy for the eye in colour. Good choice. TFS

I love the treatment you adobted to this fantastic portscape!
Fabulous lighting and sharpness are helping a happy composition.
Details are very clearly seen and there's splendor in this capture.
Well done. Regards.
I really like your treatment of this scene, Andy. Like you, I prefer the b/w version over the color scene.
The POV is very effective, with the boats in the foreground, looking back toward the city. Your b/w treatment offers some interesting paradoxes, at least to my eye. It almost has a cinematic feel to it, like we're looking at a scene from an old movie, but the boats with their outboard engines look thoroughly modern.
I like it!
HI Andy..nice composition...great range of tones and nice details.
