Church of San Manuel and San Benito (Madrid)
The church of San Manuel and San Benito, Madrid (Spain), is located on Calle Alcala, 83, opposite the Retiro Park was built between 1902 and 1910. The work of the architect Fernando Arbós Tremanti and was used as a residence for the church and Augustinian Fathers. The sponsors of this initiative were the Catalan businessman Manuel and his wife Benita Caviggioli Maurici, who generously donated the land for this purpose.
This building is undoubtedly the best example of architecture neobizantine madrileña, with the Pantheon of Illustrious Men, which was also made by the Arbós.
The church of San Manuel and San Benito has a centralized Greek cross, with a large dome on pendentives which symbolically represent the four evangelists. Its interior features a side chapel of the Epistle, with a white marble altar in the center and the two tombs of marriage in the Catalan side. Of its facade, emphasizes the tower, built as the bell of Italians. The restoration of the Church of San Manuel and San Benito was given by the architect José Antonio Arenillas.

hi Manuel

Although I feel the color tone of the sky is done in pp work to become less natural, the view of this church is superbly captured showing very nice architecture style. There seems to be distortion but it does not affect the beautiful shot of this great POV.

Hi Manuel
excellent photo.
very good light. excellent POV.

This is a good shot, I'd be interested to know more about the PP techniques you used to lift the shadows in the scene.

Is that the original sky or was it enhanced/ added?
