Merry Christmas Everyone! This is my Christmas Card to you all. I did a little experimentation with this. I wanted maximum twinkle out of the lights, so I played around with different Fstops and this is the Highest Fstop I have EVER shot with F32~! HAHA!

Oh well. I decided to post this today, as I have a special pic tomorrow and one on Christmas Day. We are running out of time here, hope all your shopping is done.

I wanted to make a card for you guys, just for fun and to let you know that I wish you all a great Christmas, Holiday, Hanukkah, or just a great Thursday! However you choose to celebrate, I hope you enjoy the love of friends and family around you!

What? No Merry Christmas for me...?

Very cute and very unique... Very...

Hi Linda,

Beautiful card! I really like the "twinkle" you have achieved with the lights. Would a "starburst" filter achieve the same result? Not sure..... Looks like little stars all on your tree. I also like the "Unger" stocking which really personalizes the card from you.

No, I've not finished my shopping..... I like it that way though. I inherited it from my dad who probably hasn't started yet! ;) Lisa

Effective tight framing, with good sharpness & color. I like the starburst lights on the Christmas tree. Tfs!

What a great result from a good experiment. Looks like f/32 worked well!
I like the stars on the lights that the long exposure created.

Meri Kirihimete to you too Linda

Looking good here, so bright and colourful, very cheerful

Have a good CHRISTmas time

Yes I found that out myself - by using a higher F stop in A you can create the perfect twinkle because of the shuttertime.
