[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Another coincidence where the title which I had planned for a photo ends up having a significant meaning in my life!
I took this photo a few weeks ago and decided to entitle it "crowned" due to the shape of the pollen accumulated on the "carpenter bee's" back (thanks Agoes SK (wieyos) for the name of this bee!).
Later, I was invited by the folkloric group (that I dance for) to perform the role of "Rainha Santa Isabel" (Queen Isabel the Saint) in a 12 minute show. These past few days I've been quite busy with the arrangements of the crown and other garments.
So, in the name of another coincidence, I have the pleasure of presenting to you today, my "crowned carpenter bee"!

Hi Lurdes,
Excellent sharp macro, the pollen are clearly seen. Nice contrast between the bee and flower too. An attractive picture my dear!

Ciao Lurdes, great macro with fantastic colors, wonderful details and splendid sharpness, good composition with beautiful bee full of pollen, very well done, ciao Silvio

Dear Lurdes,
Pictures with special meanings are important to us and from reading your Note, this is one of them. The halo or crown symmetry is most pronounced in the flower, looks like a zinnia. And of course, the bee is sharp and surrounded by attractive purple. My compliments, Danilo

Bom dia Lurdes,
Que cores extraordinárias.
Que nitida imagem.
Muito Obrigado pela menssagem
Tem um optimo dia

Yet another great macro, Maria. I applaud you for being able to capture these images so quickly before the subjects move to another location. Or, do you have a way to freeze time until you get the shot you want? :)
