[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I can't believe that I took this photo 9 months ago - it seems like yesterday that I was on this beach and struggling with a sinking tripod... Makes for interesting long exposures...
Used an ND4 grad filter on top of a polarizer.

Cropped a little, some selective 'dodging' and sharpen for upload..

Hi David,
This is a beautiful shot. I love the warm colors and the slow SS effect on the water. The composition is very good. Nice work.

Sinking tripod or not, you managed a very neat effect, so ethereal looking it's amazing.
I like the way the light tapers off towards the sunset and orange sky and the way some of the post work brought out the rock details. Clearly some nice effects from the polarizer as well.
Nice original presentation of a fairly standard scene.
Well done.
Thanks for sharing,

Beautifully composed and processed photo. Well worth the effort of a sinking tripod... :) TFS

Hello David,
What a great picture have you posted here!
Wonderful colours and light.
The result of the long exposure is amazing!
Well done!

Greetings from Netherland,

Hi David,

Lovely movement around and over the rocks, great reflection across the sea, watch out for the salt corroding the tripod feet, I have just been spraying WD40 on mine for that very reason, but as usual it is always worth it.

Nice long exposure to give the water that silky look and a good composition, with details in the foreground being balanced by the sun in the background.

Hi David,
This is a dreamy image!
The long exposue rendered great fluidity of the waves creating a moody scene.
Excellent POV and warm colors.
Bravo! Annie

Hello .. Amazing POV. Amazing composition. Nice light and colors. Great effect.

very nice photo, lovely colours
and it looks like big clouds on the top of the mountains, amazing!

David, apart from your usual genre of wide angle and different perspective photos, I LOVE this one. So much that I will add it to my present list of desktop screen savers! Very uniue and technically superb!
