Hi,

I took this image in April whilst on a day trip to Durham. These are the stairs to the multi-storey car park which is attached to the side of the newly built city centre shopping centre in the middle of the city.

This is the view straight down from the top floor. The shape of the stairs is basically triangular, which is really good from a POV as you have 2 sides and a base. I took this orginally in landscape and rotated into portrait to get its full impact.

Thanks again for the themes, Helen,

Take Care,

John

Good one Johnny Mag.
What an interesting shape these stairs are. The angle gives you a good look right down to the brick floor at the bottom
Well seen and captured
Janice

Interesting viewpoint here John - I agree in that it works better in portrait view.

unusall shot here John but very well composed and presented well done

Hello Johnny,

This view makes a very interesting shape of the stairwell. The brain takes a few seconds to make sense of it all ... then, the revelation is pleasing! I like the converging and transversing lines.

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

i don't want to fall through that space.
makes me dizzy looking at it. hahaha!

Hello John

What an excellent shot here, I like the DOF with the lower steps and angles being sharper, an excellent POV and really good idea for this theme

TFS and for joining in the theme

kind regards Helen

Hi John,

Well spotted and quite a dizzying image. I'm not really good with heights and this looks quite terrifying!

Nice shot...! Paul.
