Windows of History...
from Inca culture.

Windows represent a view, how you look to the world.
Its kinda perspective.
Gives some focus.
Windows of History...
tells lot about the beautiful things of past,
as wella sbad things of past.
what to take...depends on the window of your mind, thought process.

Here, I know sky is a bit overcast, and we can't control the nature.
But I wanted to share this photo from Machu Picchu, and this week's theme suited well for this.
Thank you

Hi Vandana,

an original & undoubtly a unique entry for the theme indeed.

i always wonder how the people of the past could construct such a massive structure bare-handedly.

great capture!

What an incredible shot and view. The overall composition is outstanding. I like the colors and the clouds over the mountain tops. Nice work.

hi vandana, wow what a cool point of view! teasing me for whats in behind there, got me going!
well done,

Very good, Vandana! I liked the clouds the way they were as they gave a sense of moodiness and ancientness that a full sunlit day doesn't. TFS Good pov and dof. Just the tiniest bit of tilt on the right side but nothing major.

Hi Vandana
you are great....
for today theme you went till Peru!!!

Your 'windows' here at Machu Picchu are good indeed, Vandana. There are so many photos taken of this place and this one looks quite original.
There's definitely a lot of history here,

Hello Vandana,

A different point of view on one of the most photogenic sites in the world!
Interesting framing of the ancient city and surroundings, the low clouds add to the mood...

O yes, this is a view from a window that is very interesting Vandana - it's not only that I know how high in the mountains you are here, but this picture really shows it - lovely work.

Hello Vandana,
A fantastic title to a very well concepted photo. Excelent composition with the detail far away between the «window» in the 1st. plain; it'is realy a «window of history». Of course the sharpness, the colour, the light... is all perfect... (Vandana way)... and the clouds add an atmosphere of magic to the photo. Very well done. A great moment, congrats, mb

Hi Vandana,
Yes, a bit overcast but not to stop me from my amazement to the details and clarity of the structure. And, I could see a man through its window, making this shot more interesting. Very interesting shot indeed.

I like the view very much Vandana, but I really like the sky. I am a huge fan of rain forest like skies and how they add mystery and beauty. I also like how you have the steps descending thru one of the frames and the lone man on the rock wall . The first window alone is a wonderful image with the rest added I think it is an amazing shot. Well done.
Warm Regards

Hi Vandana Bonjour,
Très jolie présentation et composition pour le thème, superbes couleurs et détails of the Inca culture, Excellent done

Hi Vandana,

A view to Kill.!
Hello Vandana.
Just imaging on that place, how it was in the past.
Those windows where build to kill, or just preventive of being killed. But in the good times they sure had a wonderful outlook to the surroundings.
Very good capture for the weekly theme.
Have a nice weekend dear vandana.

Hi Vandana,

Very fine PoV and composition and the perfect addition to the theme
Since you do not allow workshops, I cannot show you a little trick I learned in class recently -- a way of getting more details into the clouds -- the would be my only suggestion for improvement

A beautiful picture Vandana.
The clouds over the peaks gives us a clue as to your whereabouts, and then the views through the stone framed 'windows' confirms our ideas.
Everything is so sharp, and the colours look so natural.
Excellent work.Just right for the theme.
Tfs, regards Jean.

Hi Vandana,

Sad to read Your sorrow in Johnny's latest note... My deepest condolences.

Beautiful photo, the window effect You show (and how You show) is amazing. Superb compo and colors + focus. Yes, sky's a bit overexposured and You can't control nature, but You can crop a little more from that part... Just a personal opinion, of course. Otherwise an excellent image. Tfs.
