Hello Folks.

Ruined Church in Dunlewey. This was a church of Ireland building put up by the landlord of Dunlewey in the 1830's for the small protestant community that worked in and around the estate.

On the background Errigal Mountain.
This is the 2nd highest mountain in Ulster at 752 m.

I can not show you full beauty of Errigal Mountain this time, as you can see weather was not good that moment but I will return to Co. Donegal ;)

Check the Map:[view] for the exact location.

Regards my friends.

Well composed landscape, it does capture the beauty of the place. As for the weather, there is no bad weather for taking good pictures.
Regards,
Tibi

A fine landscape with good explanatory note.
Yet the picture seems a bit oversharp to me.
I would expect a bit of degrading in the church that is some distance away, which would make the picture softer.

Anyway, it's well composed and interesting.
TFS Janek.

Czolem Janek.
Fajna kompozycja. Te zolte krzaczory ladnie prowadza oko w strone ruin kosciola. Gora stanowi ciekawe tlo. Nie rozumiem narzekan na zbyt duza ostrosc. Dla mnie jest just right.
Pozdrawiam
Wojtek

Hi Janek,

This is Picture-Postcard-Perfect! I love the contrast of the bright yellow flowers in the fields to the grays of the stone church ruins.

It's a terrific shot. Makes me want to hop on a plane to Ireland!

Hi Janek,
The flowered foreground gives a strong contrast with the rainy sky. That creates a nice mood for emphasizing the old gray stones on this church. Very good composition with the colorful lead in to the church. Regards! Annie

Aah Ireland--broom, castle ruins and stone. Makes me homesick as I lived there for some years. A nice tribute to a wonderful land.

Well composed and great light.

What a lovely image Janek. It looks so very friendly with al the blooming "common brooms"... Didn't they smell great??
The light is great here in spite of the overcasted sky... I must say it would be really great to see this in the sunshine!(WITH the blooming Brooms that is..)

Cheers,
Anneke
