[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [Dutch]
Two men sitting beside each other. One with his decoration in the lip and the other on his jacket.
Which decoration will last longest?
The lipguy will grow over it and remove his trophy.
For how much longer will the old man wear his badge???

Very interesting image here.
It makes one wonder where one is in life and where one will be in years ahead. A photo with great detail.
TFS Joop I like it a lot

Like it Joop, the look of questioning and interest on the older guys face and the look of boredom on the younger one's face says it all!
Thanks for sharing.

Hey Joop!
A great picture, I've decided to make a theme to pay hommage to VE DAY, and the more important battles of the Second World War 2. I like this photograph, and I'm glad the Dutch haven't easily forgotten like so many others, that Canada and other nations gave alot and sacraficed its sons, in order to create a Free Europe.

it's easy to forget the sacrafices of those, of a generation before us, but that means, we're really inviting for new evil.

the portrait is very modest, and it's a great way of comparing two different people, the facial expression of the older genleman, is of saddness and gratitude.

Good one!
-Bart
