This tough nice kid was staying with us during the weekend and I shot this picture at the playfield near my house. He was having so much fun climbing.

Shot in RAW
Converted in DPP. Saved as TIFF after sharpening
Opened in PS CS3: increased clarity, converted to B&W
Cropped slightly
Resized and framed.
Sharpened a little bit more
Converted to JPEG

Excellent shot Edwin,
It's not easy to grab focus like this behind
an obstruction, you not only did that
but you made the obscruction part of the composition and did an artistic job.
Love the tones and the B/W treatment as well.
Great work.

Good clear focus on the child through the ropes. And with him moving as well - BRAVO!
Janice

You have the kid in sharp focus here Edwin.Love how you shot through the ropes to get a genuine and interesting frame within a frame composition . B&W is fine too ,good work on this one,
Carol

I like this one Edwin. I like the use of dof in difficult situation like this. The boy is the subject yet you captured him sharply. Well done.
