Hello Kyle - How simple and wonderful. The different blues of the sea are phantastic, while bench and sand seem to have similar brown tones. The cloudy sky adds 'opens the scene up'. I like the POV you chose with the top of the bench just below the edge of the water. Very well done and TFS! Cordelia :)))

Good composition kyle, although i prefer that the bench overlaps a little on the green sea... to add more depth, i suppose, but that's just me... nevertheless, the slight curvature on the horizon(or it's just my eyes?), and the curvature on the seas as well on the shores of the beach creates an interesting illusion.. it appears heavy on the left portion of the image. tfs

Nice composition. As you say, simple and effective. Colors look great, not over saturated but natural. The clouds are not overexposed yet you get nice colors, well done!

I like this simple image. It gives me a rather melancholy feeling looking at the deserted beach. I think this images complements the one I posted few days back titled "End of Summer". I have a feeling that this would have made a very effective B&W photo.

The colors and elements here are superb. Yes it's very inviting. Good job with the exposure and details. One suggestion -- I wish there was more separation between the top of the bench and the edge of the beach -- I don't like it when lines like that run together. But that's just a small suggestion on a wonderful shot.
