AN interesting architecture and very iteresting shot with hreat colour contrast. Thanx for sharing.
Hi John, now we still are on Mykanos, that’s fine, but I have to correct you, the ship in the background, it is not the Norwegian Jewel; the ship in the background is one off the ferries to other islands around Mykanos. If this ship should be the Norwegian Jewel, it should have pasted a “ship converter”, its to small Mr. Tulip it got the size off on off Norwegian Jewel lifeboats.
Good d…. that I as a young man should have to correct you in this manner. You will have my apologies in advance, but it is not the Norwegian Jewel.
But never mind, the photo is fantastic, great colors, great sharpness, a wonderful photo off a part off Mykanos. My compliments and TFS.
By the way, the beer in the BAR was cool and tasteful.
All the best your friend
I love the composition with cruise ship as the BG and those wonderful colors. Lovely weather, is it mostly happen all the time?
Beautiful image my friend Belanda.
Thank you John for sharing the moment.

Again some great colors here Sjonnie!
Lovely blue sky and white houses with colorful balconies.
I really like the way this image shows the decay of the houses around the waterline. Well seen...
A real nice composition; the contrast between the old houses and the "stand in" ship.

Stunning - metering, composition, sharpness, detail, saturation and subject, as (almost) always John. You SO know what you're doing that I almost feel redundant leaving a critique ...

Good morning, John.
Nice picture, it looks a bit 'Mykonos'to me.
Were you eyes focused on the signs 'BAR' , so you didn't regocnized you 'own' ship? hahaha
Its good Jens corrected you, otherwise you had taken the wrong boat en had je van de wal in het verkeerde ship kunnen komen.
Toch maar een 400 kopen, John.

The Greek Isles. I've always wanted to visit but my list is so long and it's going to slow. Sometimes I wonder if I'll ever get there. Those blues are stunning. Nice compo. Nice ship/ ferry whatever it will take you places.

Beauty of vintage architecture is aesthecially composed in this magnificient shot. Dominating blue and white tones are nicely depicting comtemporary greek touristical atmosphere. Beautiful view my friend, well done.

Great sharpness and colors stark against the white buildings, and what a perfect sky--is there ever a cloud in that part of the world?

Ok every one has said so much, but for me, your color caliberation is so good (white balance)....
and just as a side kick, excellent framing to include the oceanliner in far backgrouns!

I missed a lot of great postings during last week! Like this one! The colors of greece are amazing! What beautiful light and pure blue and white! This composition is so efficient here. I like the repetitive angle of building and balconies. The red touch makes a good counterpoint at blue and white colors. Very well done! Annie

now this one here, what I like about it are the strong rich contrasts and the sharp colours.
Very good contrast with the whites against the blues - and the mass of the building against the rich cerulean blue sky.
Best regards, Daniel
