[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This piece I have also called Koru or spiral, Koru is Maori (indigenous language of New Zealand) for the symbol of the fern leaf unfolding {See photos here and here.}

This is the next in my series from the ice sculpture exibition held here in our town. But this symbol of growth and continuety is universal, in it's meaning and it's power.

You can see the other two from this series... No.1 & No.2

To me this symbol also speaks of our movement from inside to this outer world and beyond. All is one, renewal the only constant.

I cropped this quite heavily to bring more notice to the central feature this 'Koru' design. Then did my usual adjustments to brightness, contrast, and color saturation, manualy on my finepix programme. Resize and post... to everyone out there right now doing exactly this same thing, thank you all, for this place is more than just the sum of all our efforts. And thank you to the person who has made this all possible, I came only late on this Trek journey so could people please tell me about this person??? From what I have heard in little bits here and there, it is but one person?

hi Francis, unique and creative...i love the red color, also a good note. tfs. have a nice day!

Nice abstraction! The red looks just like blood.

This is something interesting. Showing ice in red colors. Hmm... could ice look warm? Very nice :)
