Actually, springtime last year ;o).

As winter is nearly over in the northern hemisphere I thought it was time to post this collage. It had been sitting in my 'possible' folder for way too long...

This couple was quite in shape for a photo shoot. I sat down on the bank while they kept passing me in all directions... then, suddenly, the female was "taken by surprise". I'm convinced the male did his utmost best for me... Guess he thought he was auditioning or something...
Poor female though, she was almost fully submerged at times. Luckily the whole action didn't last that long.

Exceptionally no tech talk today.

Die ken ik ! Het zijn heel atractive
diertjes en ze kunnen duiken als de
beste. Heel mooie collage!

Glad you finally uploaded this great spring collage Frank. Each picture sort of tells a story of the ducks being together. Very nice collage indeed.

Good little story! How could you talk against snow... But finally it's pring if tonight we have minus 11 or lower... tomorrow it will be near 10 degree... The snow will melt in one shot lol!
No seriousloy there will be surely some river who will flood some house...
A very big snow before and hot temperature just after...

I prefer to see your ducks ... Nice action and nice details too!

Don't worry Frank Spring time is almost here, nice collage. How is Dingo doing?

Hi Frank,

A great collage and action shot of the male duck... :))
Lucky for the female the ordeal didn't last for very long. :)

Very well seen and composed!

Oh, how very nice that someone finally posts a spring shot of something other than flowers and bees for my new group theme. This adds the birds to the bees, so now we are really getting somewhere. Nice little strip from "life in spring". Well done, Frank. Lucky that Dingo didn't jump in and break up the romance.

Mooie aankondiging van de lente Frank ...
Beestjes zijn mooi scherp, maar ja
daar heb je een goed zicht op.
Toch mis ik het technische praatje.

Frank, nice collage of these ducks. Every photo is different and well composed. TFS.

Hi Frank

Very nice collage of 4 photos about these cute ducks. I like the low lighting and the nice colors. Good job!

I love these Mandarin ducks - they are one of the most attractive breed around.
And you've caught them in action very well Frank. It looks like Mr Mandarin is drowning in the last photo... serves him right too!
Well captured:)))
