[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is "goodbye and hello" for a couple of reason...


Im retiring my old Oly C4040Z and trying out the Nikon D50. This photo is from my last set of pics taken using the C4040Z. It was a pretty good camera considering its age...maybe it still is...

From the land of sunsets, I'll be going to the land of the rising sun. They are going to lock me up in a room and throw away the key :D. So no Treklens for me for a couple of weeks (work does interfere with TL sometimes LOL!). Hopefully I'd be in time for the sakura (cherry blossoms). So goodbye summer and hello spring :D.

Critiques [Translate]

It looks over-sharpened to the point that it could be a pencil sketch.
The brightness though is really alluring.
I love the colours and lines too.

Tama naman si emman... may pinagsamahan kayo ni olympus... Yung kodak DX7590 ko active pa din hanggang ngayon... dati yun palang ang cam ko, sabi ko kailangan ko ng Canon DSLR tapos sa esmi ko na lng sya... pero hindi eh, di ko naman maibulsa DSLR eh... later siguro pag nagkapera ulit try ko naman NIKON pero di ko dispose si Canon... less noise kaya si canon at vivid naman si nikon... advantage, disadvantage meron lahat yan eh... ang importante e yung puso at mata ng kumukuha at paano mo gagamitin... salamat!

Hi Allan,

Nice photo with good color. Nasasayangan ako at magreretire na pala si Oly. Para siya nung Coolpix 4300 ko. Noong dumating si 350D ay nabackseat na rin siya. Kaya lang, hindi pa rin siya totally na retirado. Kasama ko pa rin siya for street photography ko kasi handy siya. Lagi siya sa belt bag ko na di ko puwedeng gawin kay 350D. Sayang bro, may pakinabang pa rin kay Oly.

Good luck pala sa pagtungo mo sa Japan. Japayuki ka pala uli ngayon. LOL. Biro lang ha.

My fathers' company is right by a yacht club, and I tend to work there during the summer... so I'm quite used to lovely scenes like this, but I always leave too early to see golden tones such as this on the water. I find it exceptionally beautiful the way you can see the brightness of the sun in the bottom right corner... interesting composition, tfs and have a nice weekend.
