|Winner of the Miss Galaxy Beauty Contest in a small town (population of about 18,000) in the Philippines.|
Ten years ago, it was unthinkable that a beauty contest for transgendered indivduals would be held in our town. No one would have even come out as a transgendered ten years ago or even five years in this small Catholic and very conservative town.
But now we have beauty contests with several contestants, some coming from the barrios. And during the Sto. Nino (Child Jesus) Festival held last January, they led (there were four of them, she was the most elegant of the bunch) the big delegation of farmers who participated in the parade much like Mardi Gras.
Now, that's progress.

Welcome to the 21 century, I guess. Really special to have a male 'miss Beauty'. Dont they call them 'ladyboys'? They do in Thailand. ;)
Good picture, nice pov, maybe saturate a bit more and add some contrast?
indeed a transgender beauty queen.
I think you got a really nice portrait, however the only -side for me is the overexposure of the background. The depth of field is nice though.
he/she looked like the famous stand-up comedian Rey Kilay.
tfs bro! ;-)
