Playa Municipal (local beach)in Zihuatanejo has hundreds of pelicans. It was a bait fisherman who caught these birds attention as they waited patiently to get some of the fisherman's leftovers.

Zihuat(as it is referred to by locals) is an old-world Mexican fishing village nestled around a small bay dotted with beautiful protected beaches and no high rises. Zihuatanejo has the old-fashioned charm of traditional Mexican culture. It is a town that sprang up from a handful of families who were mostly fishermen. Fishing continues to be a way of life for a large number of families. The approximate population of Zihuatanejo-Ixtapa is 85,000 inhabitants and was featured in the movie "The Shawshank Redemption" as the place that Morgan Freeman excaped to.

(and thanks for visiting my Yellow Floss)

Well better these than seagulls :-)
Very sharp and clear photo. Good POV. That one on top must have a lulu of a headache though :-). I think it would have been better to clone him out (IMHO)..
Oh, I got the "Marley and me" book and I read it when I wait for Diane at the train station. They just got the dog name decided.
But what I read while browsing look hilarious. Thank you.

Hello Julie!

It looks like this bunch of pelicans are looking at you in a funny way (^_^) . Perhaps you had a good reward for them yourself, after the photo session. Or you looked ''appetizing'' to them. (*_^).

Hello Julie,
Oh my dear..!
Awesome repetition effect...
I really hope the fishermen had a lot of leftovers, as this bunch can probably eat a lot...
