Nice details in the middle part of the butterfly Piotr. It's often difficult to get the whole thing in focus because your forced to shoot fairly wide open. I find it helps if you try to capture it when both wings are down or both wings are up. Either way, this one is a pleasure to view.

Excellent Macro. The details are excellent. The foreground of the leaf is a bit out of focus but that is to be expected with the wide aperature. The butterfly is as sharp as can be and the colors are beautiful.

Hi Piotr,
An excellent composition. Beautiful color saturation. Due to this shooting angle you you need more DOF. Probably f11 or f16 to get sharp focus all the way through. That would have taken the shutter speed down to tripod requirments. I usually shoot all my indoor butterfly shots of a tripod. It does look beautiful!

A great macro photo. The only suggestion I have here is if you would have been able to use a smaller aperture (and corresponding slightly slower speed) to get more depth of field - if the butterfly's antenna was also in focus, that would add to the picture.

This is a lovely shot. It is not always easy to take shots in butterfly houses because of the lack of light so this is a nice shot. DOF is fine and the butterfly is nicely sharp. Nice POV giving us the butterflies view
