[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a little cactus in my room. On the border of the flowerpot are new cactusses coming and they are so little...

PP: Made the background black&white, border, made unsharp around the border.

I hope you like it!

Hi Patrick
Welcome to TrekLens. I like your idea. You have captured this young cactus well. The PP you have done is good. I think you have cropped the image too finely at the top. Possible make the frame outside the image rather than inside. However good work otherwise. TFS.

Hi Patrick,
Welcome to Trek Lens!

Excellent work here on your macro. You've captured the details of this scene beautifully and the lighting is perfect. Although, I must admit, I find the border a little distracting, the photo is beautiful.

Well done. Cheers, Todd

like this one a lot! You show the beginning of life in a very closed comp which is good for it! and what amazes me - the contrast!

This time of year I really love seeing a bit of green (my Canadian world is mostly grey and white right now).
The PP work on this is superb, emphasizing the green.
Great POV, details, colour and well-managed dof

Hi Patrick,

Great macro shot, I like how you convert the rest to mono.. very sharp and good in details, excellent compo and pov here, well done, thanks for sharing

Cheers,

Great minimalist detail (is that an anachronism?) I like your presentation. It really stands out in the thumbnail, and the full size does not disappoint!
