Friends...here start the posting from Peru. Mysterious Machu-Picchu - Inca's one of the important place, built by Pachacuti in middle of 15th century. Even though Hiram Bingham is scientific discoverer of this place in 1911, the locals were using the Inca tereces for their farming purpose since 1902.

Machu-Picchu is built on the narrow ridge between Machu Picchu mountain and Huayna Picchu mountain at elevation of 8040 feet (2450 meters), 13 degrees south of Equator. The ridge drops steeply on both sides to the Urubamba river 1500 feet below. The extreme north is the Urubamba Chain, and south is the Vilcabamba Chain, and with these, two of the most important mountain peaks; the Wekey Willka or Veronica (5750m) and the majestic Salkantay (6271m) considered the Apu, or guardian deity of the Machu Picchu region. The east and west lies the vally of Cusichaca and Aobamba.

These ruins contains the great information about the Inca culture, and surprsingly got saved from the Spaniard concords. The stone work is amazing with great architecture details. All city is perfectly planned to use almost all natural resources.

Surprisingly the only artifact of the gold found was the bracelet, which was the offering for the house construction. In nearby mountain human sacrifice mummy also found. Most of the archiologists believe that Incas abondoned this place and thast why most of the things were moved from here, and not found. This is the only place where there is a temple of Sun, temple of Moon and temple of water is at the same place. It also has temple of Condor...all the elements which Inca worshiped.

Thank you, Vandana

ps: along with rest of the postings of Peru, I'll try to provide the note to understand Inca culture.

Hi Vandana,

Now that's photography.
In all fairness, you would benefit and gain a great deal by going back to this method of post processing. I like the simple frame here.

Composition: 9/10 (Subject positioning, crop, pov)

Creativity: 8/10 (Originality, usage of imagination, thinking outside the box)

Rigor: 9/10 (Sharpness, Exposure, PP, Presentation,)

Exploitation of the light 9/10

Statement 8.5/10 (Ability of communicating an idea, a mood, a message with the image)

My humble assessment.

Cheers!

PS: So now that I'm being honest and nice, do I get a reply or maybe a visit on one of my post or is it too much to ask?
