Another sandstone seep spring, this one in Zion Canyon. In order to capture the combination of gold patina and blue sky reflection off the wet rock, I had to step just off the popular Gateway To The Narrows Trail onto a handy boulder, set up my tripod as low as it would go, and wait for a break in the moderately heavy foot traffic that was passing right in front of the camera.

Thanks in advance for any comments and critiques!

Hello, Don,

Do you mean that the wonderful blue colour is reflection of the sky? I can't believe it, how can this be possible?
Is the place really very visited?

The rock forms are really hard to understand. I like your point of view and positioning the tripod low, thus giving us an idea of the height of the rocks. It would also be interesting if you showed how narrow the trail is. No, actually no - if you turned in the other direction, then the colours would not be visible.

Regards, Evgenia

Excellent. I really like the vertical lines and color variation. Good lighting. TFS.
