[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Sorry, couldn't come up with a better title today. But hey, this is part of the hood of the K1 car. Yup, it seems there is a car called K1.

We went to the A1 grandprix at Zandvoort. It was the first race of this year. We bought weekend tickets so we wouldn't miss any of the action. Not that I am the biggest racing fan you can find, but I don't want to say no to such a great event. On the first day I immediately noticed that I needed ot have a bigger and faster lens to capture any of the action on the track. SO I won't post that many racing shots, and notning compared with the Photos from Mario.

Almost forgot, I posted a WS to show what the car looks like

Obviously, the colours are very pleasant to the eye !!!
I like the fact that it is quite abstract and that you can nearly not know what it is (at leat me) ...
Great blue and yellow !

Wow - Niek, what a shot - I'm glad you told and showed us (WS) what you captured, otherwise I thought you were flying into the space to make a shot of a satellite flying there. Cool work, I realy like it, thanks

very nice composition, nice photo.

a good almost abstract photo, that give us an idea of motors and cars even if she's almost abstract.

Hallo Niek.

Bedankt voor je mooie inzending.

Very nice capture of only a very good details of the car; very abstract as Sylvie has mentioned. Nice colours & light and I also like your composition including some of the interesting details of this car. Your frame bothers me a bit as I find it blends too much with the picture and take something away from the picture - but that might just be me. Well done!

Well done.

How dee Niek

Wow that is one mean looking car, would love to test drive that baby.

This photo "K1 hood" is a very strong photo. I would never have thought of taking a picture that way, I know better next time. The whole image just tells me POWER. Even before I looked at the car itself.

Well done and thanx for sharing

Great shot Niek....Yep...the more I do this, the more I realize that I need BIGGER AND BETTER!....HAHAHA!....now I just need my paycheck BIGGER AND BETTER!

I had to read the note to work out what this was. It is quite an abstract picture. Nice composition and colours

Hi Niek,

I'm sure glad you posted the photo of the whole vehicle as I sure had no idea what this was a picture of. I have never seen a racing car up close much less witnessed an actual race. I love this photo though. You have a wonderful eye for this kind of abstract composition. The colors, patterns and values are just super. Now that I've read the other critiques I guess maybe I agree about the frame. It almost doesn't even need a frame. I like this a lot.

Hello Niek,
Intriguing lines and fine colour combination!
Nicely framed in an abstract presentation, good definition and fine details!

A yellow shock absorber sticking out of the hood, cool! The all dark background makes it really pop out. A very sharp and crisp picture.

Thank you for your comments on my photo, "Conservatory of Flowers". I appreciate it.

Hello Niek. A worthy entrant for ISO, so unlike any of your previous offerings. Good colour and lovely graphism. Well done and TFS,

Many thanks for your comment on ‘Rural Outlook’

Very nice graphic,
i love this blue
