[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The tall purple flower is a verbena. It attracts butterflies according to my favourite gardener. This gentleman walked me around his small garden centre. He specializes in herbaceous perennials and as he is a keen photographer too and likes to photograph butterflies he was able to pick out for me plants that would be the basis for my wildlife garden. He was very bashful about being photographed but I eventually won him round by telling him about the trek sites.
I regard the modern type big Crystal Palaces of garden centres to be the new cathedrals. They seem to be where everyone goes on a Sunday. This little special place is the equivelant of the village church.

Que voilà un joyeux luron !
Bonne journée.

I like it Bev, nice composed image and very clear.

You can invite me to the village church every day - I love those little garden centres much more - and they offer a much better human contact then the larger ones and often more knowledge.
We decided to make our garden more easy to maintain then the huge garden we had with our previous home - but I do miss all my flowers and the pond with the frogs and the waterlillies.
PS Now I know why I already thought you were a grandmother too - that was because of the pregnant lady in the red dress!

It is good to be shown the right plants to buy by one who really knows the plants...
I like your capture of this gardener. You have shot him in his own environment, and he fits in so naturally
Well done
