[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
These are the same eyes as in my post from yesterday. She is Jenny, one of my students. This was accidentally taken at ISO 1600, but at web site, the noise isn't too bad.

I am just loving this new camera and coming from using scanned slides, I can't believe how little work it takes to get a photo ready.

Those eyes and that HAIR! Very fun, bold use of depth of field, Darren. The composition, cropping and framing really does highlight the specialness of those lovely eyes.

darren this is an extraordinary shot! DOF is outstanding... and the focus is simply perfect for me! She has such a beautiful face ... i liked the first shot of her yesterday but my preference goes definitely to this one! i am impressed! is that you ? the new camera or a combination of the two? lol

wow, can't believe it's 1600ISO! it's even smoother and more defined than your last slide scans at 100ISO. I like very much the muted colors here, it enhances her looking like a porcelain doll.
Don't you wonder why you bought yourself a film scan recently?

You don't seem to lose much shallow DOF effect though.
...think one of these days I'll also consider digital SLR... don't worry, for color only ;-)
