One finds them everywhere in the village. For some reason, however, chicken in these Marron villages seem to be more seen regarded as pets than as useful foodstuff. So, a programme has been proposed to teach the inhabitants how to breed chicken and duck on a larger scale. To enable this people first have to learn how to produce and store enough food for their flocks. |
