[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
One finds them everywhere in the village. For some reason, however, chicken in these Marron villages seem to be more seen regarded as pets than as useful foodstuff. So, a programme has been proposed to teach the inhabitants how to breed chicken and duck on a larger scale. To enable this people first have to learn how to produce and store enough food for their flocks.

Hi Loek.
Captured in Suriname? Zo te zien is het toch een blanke haan? Wonder how his kukeleku sounds out there, grappie.
