Bird Sanctuary – Islas Ballestras at Paracas National Reserve, a conservation of Peru area located in the province of Pisco, Peru.

Paracas National Reserve was declared as such on September 25, 1975. It was created in retaining a portion of the sea and the desert of Peru, giving protection to the various wild species of flora and fauna living there.

The area within the Reserve played an important role in the Peruvian economy during the mid-nineteenth century. Vast quantities of 'guano' (birds' droppings) produced by the seabirds was exported to Europe for use as fertilizer. For many decades this industry was Peru's most important source of revenue.

Fun title to this outcrop of rock,we have the same in Dorset, UK.
I like the presentation of darkened strips too.

Ciao Tsilla, great view of fantastic natural monument, excellent clarity, wonderful colors and splendid light, very well done, my friend, have a good week end, ciao Silvio

There was a rock formation like this at the La Jolla Cove in San Diego, California, but the storms finally tore it apart. Nice capture of this natural rock formation. Good pov and sharp details. Well done, tfs.

Hi Tsilla,
A nice capture of this window in the rocks.
It's similar to the Azur Window in Gozo, Malta.
Beautiful blue sea.

Hi, Tsilla. Nice POV and composition of this beautiful rock formation on a clear blue sky. Judging from the texture of the rock it looks like granite, the birds have a great sanctuary. Shalom.

Hi Tsilla,
A pretty picture and wonderfully composed. It seems a little bright to me, I wonder if OE just a little bit?
Very good!

Hi Tsilla
Nice arch in this rocky formation. It reminds me to the arch of San Lucas, in Mexico.

Best regards
