Hi Dave,
This is a very good presentation of the street scene depicting so much character and full of smiles and happiness. Well cropped and great sharpness and exposure.

I like this photo for many reasons.
The first is the processing, it looks like HDR. The result is interesting for me.
How many photos merged ?
I like to see all these people, their different expressions, it is a meeting of smiles.
A nice scene from a popular event.
I am fascinated to see the reaction of people facing a street clown ... I have an aversion to "those things" that are supposed to make us laugh .
A nice scene of daily life which show spontaneous and honest reactions facing a clown who represents the opposite, I will never understand the fake side of clown.
An interesting scene to read, good balance and dynamism in my opinion.
This could be a photo-reportage.
