[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hello , been very busy for the last 6-7 weeks consequently was not active on TL but i thought i'd submit this picture for this Friday Theme .Caught this man litterally " asleep ", no sign of motion from him, just was there when i passed by and was still there long minutes later when i retreated toward the river for further exploration of the fabulous indigenous Otavalo market . He had not budged an inch from this position ! My explanation is that perhaps he had too much too drink and it was early morning !Anyway thank you for reviewing this photo,
Iso 100, f/4.0 , 1/125 s , cropped, a little OE on his pants , added a little saturation , sharpened,

Hey hey hey!!! Look who's here!
Nice of you to join in on the theme with this one Carol .. one last one before you jet off again.
Interesting simple, minimalist composition .. I like it! I like the colors of Ecuador too!
Bon voyage my friend. BE safe, and talk to you soon.... :)

It's a pretty moment, Carol, I like the idea and the live in your shot.
Good to see you back, greetings

My regards
Ps I think you must put yourself in theme and it is a good photo to it.

Bonne participation au thème avec cette image saisie au bon moment et aux couleurs attractives.

Hi Carol,

I'm one of those lucky people like this person. I can sleep anywhere!! :). This is great! I like the background doors and the interesting tiles on the sidewalk. Nice capture. Hat gives a little whimsy to the shot. Would be interesting to with the traditional headdress seen in Equador.

Another fine one Carol! Lisa

Hi Carol

good moment and capture.
I like the colours of the BG and the great sharpness of the image.
nicely composed and the door in the BG is awesome.

Very funny shot Carol! nice posting for the theme! I love all the colors, they frame him nicely!

hihi ... strange that he can stay on such a small doorstep !
Like the composition and the colours Carol.

No " but " only a remark :
Because of his white pants and black sweater your lightmeter had a tough job.
Do find you have edited the pants just fine !
Next step, IMO, would be to lighten up his sweater a bit to have some detail in it.

Because I see it I " must " tell it : photo is just a little bit not level.
Give it a push CCW
Don't worry about it ;-)

Hi Carol,

Nice shot, great exposure, contrast and tones as the detailed blacks (the sweater) and whites (the pants) contrast together, but still holding on their own limits, not too block nore burned. The rest of the tonality of the image follows. Nice, well saturated colours and luminosity of the image. Interesting subject, and composition..))) Like the idea and setup. Well done.
