[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Seen and taken on my way to the bus station , an indigenous woman sells fresh and 'oh' so green hay for animals at the everyday market , Plaza Rotary in Cuenca , a fabulous city whose old colonial center was declared a World Cultural Heritage Site by Unesco in 1999 .
1so 200, f/5 ,1/100 , boasted exposure , gamma to raise the light level as the scene was way too dark on this very overcast day but as a result it brought some unwanted brightening on the hat ( ahrrrr do i hate pale or white hat ,,, lol ) so did some burning on the hat,, oh well perhaps not enough and a little sharpening to finish it off, hope you like this photo ,

a nice candid shot. i like her pose & posture...so relax waiting for a buyer. and the freshness of the hay is nicely captured too. well done.

Hi, Carol,
great job on the PP. I'd never have guessed it was a cloudy day. You have good exposure, good contrasts, nice natural color, excellent composition and I love all the different details. Horizontal lines, vertical lines, squares and the lady is perfectly placed among them all. REALLY nice shot! Many thanks and kind regards,
Shelly
