Ah, the flower is a Brazilian orchid named Masdevallia infracta the only species of this genus existing in Brazil.

Hi Raimundo
This was an interesting creation with the pitch black background. The only source of light is an indirect one; the plant... and the effect of the contrast is very efficient and powerful. It has a 3-d effect and I think it's really well done. Maybe I'll copy / steal your technique.
