This photo was actually taken on Lifou Island in New Caledonia (there wasn't an option in the list for New Caledonia!) during my New Year Cruise (as u can see the ship is in the background)..although i also went to Vanuatu.
Sharpened. A little Saturation. Amended lighting... hope its good enough :o) |

It is a lovely composition Mandy, but I'd be a bit worried about the angle the boat is leaning on. It looks like it is sinking nose-first.
I have done you a workshop to even up the water - I hope you like it.
The frangipani flower with the red leaf looks awesome!! I had a great holiday in Noumea once.

This flower of "potch" is a recognizing sign between people of this island. Deep and impressive scent remains in skin of bearer of tenth of this flowers around the neck.
I've lived there and, forgive me, your picture remembrs me of the cargo cult pacific people have so much suffered of... flower waiting the conqueror.
Nice colors anyway, and you succeeded in showing the difference between whites of sand and flower.
