Sunset in the Bay

Last week Auckland had quite a beautiful sunset, and I know quite a few friends took photos of it.

I was impressed with how the clouds started streaking across the sky - changing colours and tones as the night got darker.

One reason why sunrises and sunsets are so colourful is partly due to dust in the upper atmosphere...

I am standing here on the wharf at Murrays Bay and looking west...

Lovely sun set composition with beautiful DOF and very nice details of the clouds combines with the FG tree textures makes it one beautiful presentation.

What an amazing sky Jannie! Well done here! I can't wait to see them for myself! Next time try F11, with a tripod and see if it could be a little sharper. LOVE the colors in this!
