Actiona and panning all in the one shot, not something I have ever tried before so I'm pretty happy with the result.

Whilst I was taking some sunrise shots which you can see here:

I know shameless plug to get you guys to looks at my photos. So go on go look at them!

Behind me a bike time trial event was taking place so I thought why not take a few shots of the guys on the bikes as well. So here's the best one of the bunch, I'm pretty stoked I like the motion blur and the colours came out fab, the early morning light set everything off a treat.

For a first time shot with this effect it, it is stunning.
Early morning and late afternoon sun seems to be the best to create mood pics. e.g. Everything that happens fast in the morning feels like a blur.

This is a very nice capture and I am a fan of panned/motion shots and I look forward to trying this myself. If I would sugest anything it might be to crop the top of the image a bit and move the cyclist away from the centre of the shot and perhaps more towards the left.

HI Robert.
Fantastic shot.
You have really given this photo a sense of speed.
Well done. Great bright colours too.

quite good :-)

This looks great! I wondered if it was early morning or evening light, then saw it's morning. It has that kind of nice glow. I really like how that looks panned.

After watching the Tour de France this year this is an especially interesting shot. You really have a sense of speed and i feel exhilerated just viewing! Jennifer
