[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is Long Bay Beach, an hour after I took the last photo I posted on TL.
The tide is still out

Don't you just love the sky here? I do... I think it is even better than yesterday’s posting. The clouds kept coming over and we were threatened with rain, but only the rainbow appeared.

We spent about 1 1/2 hours playing with the footballs on the beach, and now we’re ready to go back home – we’re all tired now. Well, I know I was.

Hi Janice,
This is a killer sky. I would love to see such clouds combined with rain, sun and a rainblow. I like the interaction of the people on the wet sand.

Unusual formation of clouds here Janice...and with a rainbow too. Nice capture of the family playing and enjoying themselves on Long Bay beach, but the round ball should be oval !

Hello Janice,

This really is a fine capture of the location and the weather conditions. It would have made an attractive shot without the people, but their inclusion adds different dimensions of human interest, scale and good positioning.
As you note, the sky is incredible, especially with the detail of the rainbow, whilst the appearance of land, beyond the clouds, gives tremendous depth.

That is so awesome Janice! What a superb shot! Lucky you, you got a rainbow in this great scene! The cloud across the rainbow is just perfect! Is it still cold there? Love the mirror effect of the sand!
