Hello again - Another day, another image. Again from my trip to the South Island of New Zealand earlier this month. And again from Queenstown, where you get million-dollar views from everywhere. So, this second image shows the eastern part with the airport. Excursions to other beautifully situated places include Glenorchy, Wanaka, Te Anau and Fjordland with the famous Milford Sound. Outdoors activities include paragliding, glacier guiding, bungy jumping, canyoning, horseback riding, rafting, white water sledging and, when winter comes, all sorts of winter sports.

Shutter speed and F-stop are due to my not having re-adjusted the ISO value, then preset to 320.
Editing: sharpened, cloned out a lantern post (front/left), framed and downsized for upload.

Have a good Sunday!

J’ai rendu l’image plus nette, enfin cloned out a lantern post (front/left), framed and downsized for upload.

Bonne dimanche!

Bonjour Cordelia

Going down to this region in a few weeks for the Autumn colours, love the mist rolling through the early morning light, beautiful neutral tones . Would have cropped the left and top a more but that's a personal preference, the image has a a wonderful soft feel. Well done

I haven't been to Queenstown in a long, long time - I was just a kid - and I remember almost nothing about it. But your photograph gives such a stunning impression, I would really like to go back there and see it!

Beautiful sense of perspective and distance, nice composition and placement - although the tree and house-roof on the very left of the photo seem out of place, and in my opinion should have been cropped out. :)

A beautiful shot of Queenstown Cordelia.. it would have been desirable to remove the edge of the roof and the tree branches at the bottom left corner.. thanks

Hi Cordelia,
I like the silvery cast in this landscape shot.
Very soft and tender atmosphere with the fog creating shining ring around the hill behind the trees!
Although the tree and rooftop on the left botom corner are a bit destructing, I can see a great DOF with their presence, but still are out of place in such a wonderful scene!
Have a good Sunday,
My best regards,

Francis Xavier
