Summer is here

Another of the photos I took yesterday at Murrays Bay wharf.

All you need is a bit of sun, the tide in, and a group of young kids - and the wharf is the place to be.

I finally added a workshop showing the wharf - TL was going so slow -

Summer is there , Summer is also here ( in RECIFE, Brazil !).
A good flagrant, Janice, very well captured!
Enjoy your Summer and Im also enjoying mine !
Kind regards,

It's amazing how long Dawnie's hair has gotten! Nice shot of her jumping off the pier! Nice clarity here Jannie, so nice to see the pic of you and Dawnie on the beach too! Well done on that one! he he! Nice stop action shot girl!

One of the difficulties you face in these leaping-off-the-wharf shots is that it's difficult to capture the jumper's face as they go.

This one at least we get a profile - but the eternal problem is how to capture more.

Here the jump is well captured, the light and colours are good - not much that could be done about the shadow of her arm - and there are no distractions from the background.

Still, I'd like to see this done with the widest aperture and longest possible focal length, presumably using the Servo IO focus feature, to see how much background separation could be achieved.

Another nice action shot, I will have to see if I can get some of the kids off the Orewa bridge.

Like the way you have filled the frame, not having the wharf in the picture leaves you thinking "where did she come from" and I like that.
