[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I saw this seal when travelling the Pacific HIghway betwen Christchurch and Kaikoura. There were many seals at this location and the air ponged alot with the smell of fish. :-)

dear Martyn,
a very impressive shot of the seal.
I specially like its eye that look at far distance with calm ambience,
it is quite like a man thinking something important in his life...
and of course, I like its long white "mustaches" and fine "fur",
those are very well captured in this shot.
blue eye and little yellow grass are vivid too, nice accent in this.

Very good focus here Martyn.
For me the frame is distracting and the crop is a bit tight. I like the eye contact and the tiny tiny ear that you have captured. TFS. Karin
