Very nice shot here, Christine.
Simple idea, but great technique behind the shot and you effort of getting on your belly here to get such a low viewpoint has paid off.
Strong focus on the subject matter, and your choice of aperture to get such a shallow depth of field with rapid fall off in the fore and background has added the impact the shot needs to tell the story.
Despite such a shallow depth, we can all see what the background is.
PS Welcome to the site.
Bom dia Christine,
This shot proves two things: that you are a Photographer of verdadee, and that also is committed to preservation.
I hope you too much. Be welcome to TL.
Cheers from Brasil,
Welcome to Trek Lens.
Well done for seeing this as a photo opportunity, and, for getting such a low point of view (which adds to the appeal of the photo as does the shallow depth of field.)
I look forward to seeing more of your images.

Well done, the low PoV really makes the shot.
Nice to see another Kiwi on TL
