Light show of the Anzac Poppy on the Wellington War Memorial.It is the 100 year celebration of the Anzac invasion of Turkey so a big moment in the history of the 3 countries.The Poppy is the chosen flower as it was the first flower to emerge on the soldiers graves of Flanders Fields in France.Artificial Poppies have been sold as a fund raiser since 1921 making it one of he oldest fund raisers in the world.

Hi David,
not an easy capture, it looks a little soft so I presume it was hand held at 1/4 sec, so a reasonable result

Hi David, the one fun part about the dawn service is no room for a tripod but the need for low settings. We had films and old photos on some of ours . Fiona
