This footbridge links Pataua North & South together. A classic sleepy little town in New Zealand. Some boys were jumping off and splashing around enjoying their Summer holiday.

Nice balanced composition and interesting subject.
Taking a shot in the midday sun like this, not surprisingly, tends to result in washed-out colours. Some photographers use polarizers to compensate - but a gamma and brightness adjustment in post-processing can often do the same job.
