[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A shot taken between showers on the way home from our rail trip.
I would have liked to have had more time for this one, but unfortunately rain was imminent.
Shot in Raw, I used HDR to bring out shadow details.
I desaturated the colour by 10%, it reminds me of an English landscape painting.

Hi Pete,
The HDR treatment has worked well, it does have that old English master look about it (not sure if was Constable or Turner)
Good to see posting again

This is very nice shot and here the tree seems to be an art-work.

A good picture to hang on your wall

Hi Peter,
A real jem showing the absolute beauty of a New Zealand country side. Your HDR has worked to perfection in creating this striking and well detailed image. Perfect and interesting placing of elements, well done.

Hello Peter,
Beautiful, charming, rustic image. I like very much such views.

Hi Pete, looks like things havent dried out around there yet..Glad you kept the big tree in the bg it adds a nice touch to the scene. You hit the right level with the hdr bringing out details in the bg with a nice light this side of the clouds.Fiona
