Let’s Dance

This isn’t a ‘good’ photo, but it is one that makes me smile when I think back over when it was taken.

In January 2007 my youngest son and his wife were married on Waiheke Island in the Hauraki Gulf of NZ.

Five of our grandchildren were there, and the youngest was Caleb, who then was only just over 3 years old. He danced and danced all night. . . He had a ball.

He danced with whoever he could – the bridesmaids, all his uncles, his aunty, and also his cousins, including Molly who was then 7½ years old. He was so excited to be there.

This is Caleb gripping onto Molly’s hand as they are about to start dancing again…

The only one who wouldn’t dance with him was his cousin Hannah, then 4 ½ years old – she did NOT like him dancing with HER daddy!!

I have added a workshop image showing you him after dancing with Hannah’s daddy. . .

Indeed it is a wonderful moment in time, Janice. I really like this POV and how one can see how tight the grip is. It is very cute and you sure have captured great detail. A wonderful image to treasure and great for the theme.
Warm Regards

Hi Janice,
This is wonderful! Great observation of the detail! Adoring and impressive at the same time. Maybe a tighter crop would be even more stronger, see my WS as example. Anyway I really like this picture my dear.
Kia ora!

N.B. 58 days and counting :-)
