Taken down at Okura River estuary. Living on the East Coast of Auckland this is the closest place for West Coast sunsets

So this is the closest to home where we can get the best sunsets.
Strangely, the golden water shows no effects from the red and blue sky.
Nice and still and good results from using the tripod Jack.
But I feel there is too much of the jetty showing. I'd like to be able to see more of that golden pond.
One day I musty go back to Okura, and try and pick a sunset time.

I like the sharpness of the f22 aperture, and the low down POV to the planks of the jetty.... Nice colour in the BG..


Hi Jack, I like the POV you have chosen and yes the jetty is distracting but I think it is still an important element of this photo, love the colour in the sky.

An underrated posting, great POV with the jetty on the foreground and the awesome sky in the background with the fine silhouette as nice border. Great colours overall a wonderful image Jack!
