Have been playing with this one for a few days now. Originally it was just the frame under the whole car with the front wheels just over the edge. Then I decided to try and put the vertical frame behind the car. It was touching the bottom one on the bottom edge to start with , but after sending a few attempts to Pete for ideas, he suggested leaving a gap, and putting the car back on the grass. Fun part has been getting a bg that wasnt too far off the light of the car. It was taken on a wet dreary day so not easy to match up.Pete suggested gray for the floor but the wall has been harder to sort, didnt want green because of the grass etc and the browns kept coming out to close to the car colour. Thanks to Pete for all his help too... I think the data is from the bg shot..

Well done Fiona, definitely worth the effort.

The wall colour nchoice is right on the money, it is reflected in the windshield.

The car is as it should be, the, the prime subject, with the added OOB 'Wow Factor'.

Great job, be proud of yourself.

Great PP Fiona, this is a cracker! Justcwell done for the time and effort and of course the end result. A fun photo ;-)

Hi Fiona

Very effective. That car really smacks the viewer in the face (I think the colour of the car helps with that). I can appreciate the amount of work that has gone into this effort. I'm not an expert on out of bounds work, but if Peter is impressed it must be very good.

I'd love to know which lens you used for the car.

A shot to be proud of and well worth my two points.

excellent travail de cadrage fiona,
tu vas vers la perfection

Bom dia Fiona,
After two reports of experts like Peter Parata and Ömer Ates, what can I if not to applaud.
And applaud enthusiastically.

Hello Wacky

Slow down.... how can we catch up. You are getting to good at this. Wonderful work. What I notice the most is that you took what would have been a been a droll image due to the surroundings and made it work for you. Well done indeed.

Hi, Fiona. I think your experiment paid off in a big way. The result is very appealing to the eye. Nice composition and placement of the car. Nice creative work. And thanks for sharing.

Hi Fiona,
Let me say first that I'm not a big fan of this out-of-the-box look.
But what strikes me here is the light blending between car and background, this is seemingly done. And the car is awesome too.
Must have been fun working this image and also a big challenge, of course. Well done!

Hi Fiona, WOW! you have put some real effort into creating this shot, excellent.
Ten out of ten!
Regards Jean.
