[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the middle of a series of shots from the Dolphin show at SeaWorld. I have one with the dolphins in a neat line straight above the trainer but I liked this one more... If you take a closer look the middle dolphin has turned his head towards the one on the right like hes having a laugh...Had to crop to get down to file size with all the colours, so lost a bit from the left and the sky.

Hi Fiona
With the white boat and dark dolphins, very difficult conditions to capture a well exposed image but this is a fine effort. You are unfortunate because the background is very busy and hide the dolphins somewhat.
You have captured the dolphins at exactly the right time. With the presence of the trainers and the water spray, the image has plenty of interest throughout. Overall not a bad result.

Indeed, such a beautiful photo. Very well done and a good focusing, too. The shot is great.
Thanks for sharing.

I sure hope you had a spare battery & a large memory card Fiona, this location, looks like one would take many, many shots.
Perfect capture of these Dolphins, leaping out of the water over their trainers head, bet your boys were captivated.
I think this image would also look good, if cropped to a vertical composition, omitting most of the left side out & having the focus all on the Dolphins, & their trainer.TFS

Best Wishes

Love the action, they do so well in entertaining.....love it.

Hello Fiona, some interesting comments already.
I agree with much of what has been said, but must add that your timing was impeccable! All three in the air in a wonderful 'frozen' pose.
Tfs, regards Jean.

Hi Fiona,
spectacular shot, their timing and yours is spot-on, I often wonder how they train them
