[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This one was sick when he was meant to have a party in the park for his birthday, finally well enough this weekend so let the lunacy begin. He decided to have a timeout in one of the holes in the side of the lifesize sandcastle in the playground.
Only changes were about a foot of wall cloned from the side and a red octopus cloned off the back wall. Taken early morning with a low sun.

I love it; what a sweet theme. Excellent capture. His pose, the color of his clothes and the place around him are very attractive. TFS

Very nice use natural framing. The clothes color make it pop up :)

I like the moment you have captured here, a scene in which this lovely little boy is relaxing, Fiona!

Good focus and nice isolation of your kid against a well blurred BG.
The colors are natural and exposure is very well handled.
Circular hole adds graphism into the picture.

Wishing him a fast recovery!

Kind regards,
Paras

I love this composition Fiona, it really tells a story, the position of the little boy is great. Your detail is very good here and I like the inclusion of the three little carvings on the wall of the castle. The colours of the clothing contrast very well with the sand. Nicely done.

Hi Fiona, you captured a beautiful scene - the "natural frame" surrounding the little boy is just perfect. I like the light streak and the colorful sweater - catching the eye.
Thanks for sharing - kind regrds Monika

Hi Fiona

Like this capture of everyday life! Suitably titled with such a fitting pose!! Love that the side of his face is visible as if he is just staring into the distance! The red jacket is striking. It all comes together very well! Cute indeed!

Nicely done!

Kind regards,
Taryn
